Job Summary:
Process Customer Orders acting as a key link between Production, Planning, Distribution, Sales and Marketing functions ensuring the correct, timely and accurate information flow between these parties all over the business locations.
- Receive and process Customer orders (and arrange for product manufacture)
- Oversee all functions from the point at which an order is received until the Customer has received satisfaction.
- Negotiate with Production for availability of goods and communicate the outcome.




- Communicate with Customers and/or Account Managers on matters concerning placed orders.
- Expedite late orders and the communication of this information.
- Act as a central communication medium between Sales/Logistics and other relevant departments of Sealed Air.
- Create new Customers and new materials in SAP
- Manage Claims and Returns
- Prepare and send out Reports to Sales on regular basis.
- Be able to go and visit Customers together with Sales.
What are we looking for?
- Fluency in English; knowledge of a second language would be recommended.
- Strong knowledge of SAP system.
- Able to work well within a team but also able to act individually to resolve matters.
- Strong sense of initiative, enthusiastic, customer focused with accurate data entry and computer skills.
- Pleasant professional telephone manner and an ability to relate well with people at all levels in the organization.
- Possession of well-developed communication skills both verbal and written is an essential quality as is the tenacity to follow through on matters to a satisfactory conclusion.
- Should have the ability to deal with both internal and external customers, possessing a strong attention to detail focus.
- At least 5 year experience in a structured Customer Service department.
