The Resident Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the hotel, ensuring the highest levels of guest satisfaction, and maintaining the hotel's standards of excellence. This role requires a dynamic leader who can effectively manage staff, handle guest relations, and implement operational strategies to enhance the hotel's performance.

Responsibilities:

Operational Management:

Oversee all hotel operations, including front desk, housekeeping, food and beverage, and maintenance.Ensure that all departments are running efficiently and effectively, addressing any issues that arise promptly.





Guest Relations:

Create a welcoming atmosphere for guests and ensure a high level of customer service.Address guest complaints and feedback in a professional manner, striving for resolution and satisfaction.

Staff Leadership:

Recruit, train, and mentor hotel staff, fostering a positive work environment.Conduct regular staff meetings and performance reviews to ensure team alignment and motivation.

Financial Oversight:

Assist in the preparation and management of the hotel budget.Monitor financial performance, including revenue and expenses, and implement strategies for improvement.

Marketing & Sales:

Collaborate with the marketing team to develop promotional strategies that enhance the hotel's visibility and guest bookings.Build relationships with local businesses and organizations to drive group and event bookings.

Compliance & Safety:

Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and hotel policies.Conduct regular inspections of the property to maintain standards of cleanliness and maintenance.

Reporting:

Schedule regular reports on hotel performance, guest feedback,



and operational challenges for senior management.Analyze data to identify trends and areas for improvement.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a related field.Experience of 3-5 years of hotel management or a similar role, preferable in Luxury Marriott PropertiesExcellent command of Italian and English. Additional languages will be appreciatedStrong leadership and interpersonal skills with the ability to motivate and manage a team.Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.Proficiency in hotel management software and Microsoft Office Suite.Proficiency in Opera and Opera Cloud PMS, MGS, MARSHA Operational Systems required.Knowledge of local attractions, events, and businesses to enhance guest experience.
