JOB PURPOSE

A leading energy company is seeking a

Senior Process Engineer

for a

large-scale Carbon Capture and Storage (CCS) project

. The project is advancing through the

FEED, EPC, and procurement phases

, and the primary objective of this role is to oversee all

process and utilities engineering activities

from FEED to startup.

This role ensures the

technical integrity of the project

and provides key engineering oversight throughout development and execution.Based in

the Mediterranean

, the

Senior Process Engineer

will be part of the CCS team and work closely with

engineering, HSE, and project teams

, as well as external

EPC contractors and regulatory authorities

.





MAIN RESPONSIBILITIESSupport the

project delivery team

in ensuring safe and efficient project execution.Provide

technical oversight

of process and facilities engineering during FEED and execution.Contribute to

operational readiness and assurance (OR&A;)

, including commissioning and startup documentation.Deliver technical data to support

permitting and regulatory compliance

.Develop and maintain

process simulation models

.Participate in

technical safety reviews and evaluations

.

ADDITIONAL SKILLS AND ABILITIESStrong

written and oral communication skills in English

.Expertise in

process simulation modeling (HYSYS/UniSim)

.Ability to

manage multiple workstreams

and adapt to dynamic project requirements.Independent thinker, with the ability to

work autonomously and in a team environment

.Strong

interpersonal and problem-solving skills

in a complex project setting.

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONSM.Sc. or higher in a

relevant engineering discipline

.Proven experience in

process engineering, process evaluation, and design

.Familiarity with

Safety and Environment Critical Elements (SECE) management





and European safety regulations.Experience

in process/utilities engineering within the

energy, oil & gas, or industrial sectors

.Background in

production operations or facility design

for large-scale projects.
