We are looking for an experienced CI Specialist / Continuous Improvement Business Partner (m/f/d) who is responsible for managing the overall execution of strategies that support and drive Xylem's Lean transformation and are focused on improving our value proposition to the customer while delivering significant financial results to the bottom line.




You will be supporting multiple international sites to drive cultural lean development and empowerment at a macro level, while supporting transformations and events to eliminate waste from the organization.
Locations: Herford or Ludwigshafen (Germany), Sundbyberg (Sweden), Nanterre (France), Montecchio (Italy). But other Xylem locations in Europe are also optional. We offer a Hybrid contract and this role requires to travel 50% or more if needed to cover the assigned sites.
Essential Duties/Principal Responsibilities:
- Lead CI implementation, standardization, and consistency across multiple sites (CI implementation, training and projects, CI processes, methods and tools to
eliminate waste and promote flow)
- Deliver Training and Coaching to teams and colleagues
- Work with sites business leads to support their priorities and align CI projects to their needs
- Proactively identify and communicate areas for operational and strategic improvement and share best practices / learning's
- Mentor and coach in process mapping, 5S, VSM, etc. events with site cross-functional teams
- Analyze current and past trends in KPI's highlighting trends and analyzing causes of unexpected variance




- Ability to create and finalize standard work documents / procedures and best practices

Qualifications: Education, Experience, Skills, Abilities, License/Certification:
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or Business (Master's Degree Preferred)
- Lean Certification or Lean / Six Sigma Black Belt Certification (Preferred)
- An excellent professional record with 5-10 years of industry experience in a lean / continuous improvement organization
- Expert knowledge of lean business system implementation and development; capable of working independently, with minimal supervision
- Demonstrated know-how and experience in Lean Management, Six Sigma, Continuous Improvement Management
- Demonstrated ability to apply Lean methodologies in non-manufacturing environments (e.g. Services, Transactional)




- Proven record of financial data management, ability to read and draw conclusions from financial reports and P&L; statements
- Excellent Presentation and Project Management skills, Facilitation skills, Influencing skills
- Ability to work in and lead a team, showing initiative and commitment
- Ability to drive a project both strategically, and hands-on enough to support at the team level
