Main mission
Manage, perform and ensure the Safety assurance activities related to CBTC and/or ETRMS for wayside and onboard systems. Deliver safe solutions (Projects)
Role responsibilities




Coordinate all the Safety Assurance activities on the project as per Safety process defined in Signalling Safety Instruction
Manage the external resources involved on the project
Define safety plan and manage safety workload and associated planning
Perform and coordinate Safety activities (risk analyses, Hazard Log, review RAM, Cybersecurity, Verification&Validation;,Test&Commissioning; activities) from a Safety perspective
Build the Safety Reports and/or the Safety Cases
Participate proactively to Technical review
Defend Safety Case argumentations in front of internal (Quality, Safety Assessor) and external (ISA) assessors; define and follow-up action plans to close the findings of the assessors
Manage Safety Issues ad defined in Alstom process
Desired Skills & Experience (profile)
**Educational Requirements**: University Degree level in Electronics/Telecommunications/Software Engineering
**Experience**: Safety Functional Concept for railway products
Required Knowledge & Technical Competencies
Able to understand safety function principles
Able to understand HW electrical schemes with both discrete and integrated components
Able to read SW Source Code (main programming languages, e.g. C/C++/C#, Python, ADA)



and understand SW safety architecture and design principles
Able to write and speak Fluent English
Deep knowledge of safety principles of both composite and reactive safety architectures
Deep knowledge about Requirements management (apportionment, traceability,...)
Ability to drive integration activities between different systems from a Safety perspective
Knowledge of Signalling principles
Behavioural Competencies
Ability to execute and coordinate Safety analyses,
technical reviews and evaluation of assigned projects, adhering to business standards & procedures in accordance with project requirements
Be a rigorous and detail-oriented individual
