60 Italian Top Accounts! Novartis Oncology aims to contribute to extend and improve people’s lives also developing, reinforcing and consolidating effective commercial interactions with the top 60 Italian Accounts (30 in the Center North, 30 in the Center South), focusing on the Oncology portfolio adoption and regular availability.
People in the right roles drive our company, unleashing their power through the transformation of our culture and our organization: we are looking for two curious and inspired people willing to play the new roles of Hospital Commercial Managers (1 for the Center North, possibly living in Lombardy, 1 for the Center South, possibly living in Lazio or Campania)
The purpose of this role is to use analytical skills to drive understanding of the strengths and opportunities within the existing Oncology portfolio at top accounts level, building on a strong knowledge of the decision making & purchasing process, competitive insights and sales data to support business performance and make recommendations on the most effective commercial strategy to be implemented for the Oncology portfolio, with a particular focus on off-patent products.
Your remit:
- Be responsible for commercial interactions and communications related to the Oncology portfolio with key hospital purchasing managers and for supporting the Franchises Sales teams in better and timely understanding the top account purchasing dynamics/trend both now and its likely future directions, securing adherence to country and corporate policy and procedures.
- Develop and share tools to improve the Strategic Account Management and suggest opportunities to better compete and interact with key SHs/decision makers,
- Act as a champion to provide commercial oversight for Oncology top accounts customers, including addressing and resolving commercial issues/questions.
- Support the development and assure the effective delivery of tailored commercial proposals, including early entry & supply agreements in top accounts.
- Track commercial supply processes to ensure capture of relevant provisions (e.g., KPIs, forecasts, renewals).
- Work with BEO, Tender Office, Customer Service and Market Access/Franchise teams to shape practices and processes in line with Accounts needs and in explaining sales data trend at local account level.
- Support the HQ team in forecasting and delivering of budgeted revenue numbers through interaction.
- Lead specific strategic initiatives decided by OCB to tailor portfolio strategy to different account profile and SWOT.

**Minimum requirements**
- University degree (scientific, economics or business degree).
- 5+ years of relevant experience in pharmaceutical or medical device business development, general business management, technical project management and analysis
Experience of driving the development and execution of commercial strategies or business cases to deliver competitive sales results.
- Proven ability to develop and sustain strong working relationships with external decision makers.
- Strong analytical skills, problem solving attitudes and pragmatic approach
- Attitude to make complex matters/analysis simple and to communicate them effectively and timely with appropriate use of Windows tools
- Willingness to test new approach and continuous learning
