We’ll be looking for you to identify, create and pursue new business opportunities for Western Union Business Solutions (WUBS) in the SME and Corporate sector. You will be responsible for establishing new business relationships, identifying, and addressing opportunities for foreign exchange and payment solutions to meet and exceed sales targets. You will establish relationship and build credibility with clients through networking opportunities and effectively presenting solutions that encompass the client’s entire international payment needs and Forex solutions, establishing WUBS as the primary provider. Your responsibilities include also self gen activities as cold calling, participation in marketing activities and initiatives to prospective clients as well as research and analyse clients’ business objectives, identify their foreign exchange and international payment requirements, and design a benefits-based solution and action plan demonstrating how WUBS can meet client needs. You will manage the complete sales cycle process to ensure maximum productivity and completion of sales and pipeline reports and competitor information.
You’ll succeed in this role if you have extensive corporate sales experience, preferably in the financial or Forex payments industry. A relevant background in selling B2B FX and Hedging solutions is preferred. For this fast-paced role, you will need to be ambitious, self-motivated, confident with high integrity and tenacity to outperform the competition. You’ll be financially astute with knowledge of business needs and concerns and must be able to demonstrate success in new business sales in a dynamic environment consistently achieving or exceeding targets. You’ll also need to possess excellent communication skills with a deep understanding of consultative sales principles, be adept at executive corporate level negotiations, and building long-term client relationships.
IMPORTANT NOTE: Following the Western Union Business Solutions divestiture announcement on August 4, 2021, recruitment efforts will continue for this position on behalf of Western Union.
However, as part of the divestiture agreement, this position will transition to the purchasing company should the transaction conclude. The hiring team will be able to answer any questions you may have.
