- RINA is currently recruiting for a **Smart Infrastructure Junior Project Manager** to join its office in Rome, Italy within the Italy Infrastructure & Mobility Division.
**Mission**
- The Associate Project Manager is responsible for supporting project execution and assisting in the coordination of tasks to ensure successful project delivery. Working under the guidance of a Project Manager, the Associate Project Manager helps manage resources, monitor project timelines, and maintain effective communication among team members and clients.

- **Project Support**:
Assist in the creation and maintenance of detailed project plans, delineating tasks, timelines, and milestones in close collaboration with the project team. Keep project trackers and reports updated regularly to ensure stakeholders are well-informed about project progress.
- **Client Interaction**:
Serve as a pivotal point of contact for clients, providing timely updates as directed by the Project Manager. Address client queries and concerns promptly, escalating issues when necessary to uphold client satisfaction. Engage actively in client meetings by taking notes and following up on action items.
- **Documentation**:
Prepare and organize essential project documentation, ensuring accuracy and accessibility of all records, such as contracts, scope documents, and timelines. Track document versions meticulously and ensure compliance with company documentation standards. Aid in creating comprehensive reports and summaries for both internal and client use, emphasizing clarity and precision.
- **Scheduling and Coordination**:
Efficiently coordinate meetings, arrange logistics,
and distribute agendas and minutes to relevant stakeholders. Monitor key project milestones closely and send timely reminders to the team to ensure tasks are completed promptly. Maintain and update the project calendar to reflect any changes in timelines or deliverable deadlines accurately.
- **Budget and Risk Monitoring**:
Support budget tracking by collating and analyzing expense reports and project costs for insightful analysis. Identify potential budget variances proactively and alert the Project Manager accordingly. Monitor project risks diligently, document them in risk logs, and provide valuable inputs to assist with risk mitigation strategies.
- **Quality Assurance**:
Participate in conducting rigorous quality checks on deliverables to verify compliance with specified standards. Document and report any quality issues or deviations from the project plan promptly. Provide constructive feedback to the team on areas for improvement in project processes.
**Education**
- Master’s Degree in Civil Engineering or Mechanical Engineering**Qualifications**
**Qualifications**:
- Master’s Degree in Civil Engineering or Mechanical Engineering
- 3+ years of experience in an engineering or technical role within a project setting, ideally with exposure to cross-functional teamwork.
- Professional project management certifications are desirable (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2 Practitioner, or similar). A certification in Agile (e.g., Certified ScrumMaster) can also be beneficial.
- Basic understanding of project management principles, including project lifecycle, scheduling, budgeting, and risk management.
- Basic knowledge of Agile or Lean methodologies is advantageous, depending on the organization's preferred approach.
- Proven ability to work effectively in team settings, ideally with some exposure to cross-functional project work.
- Experience in tracking progress, managing schedules,
and coordinating small project components or task lists.
- Basic data analysis skills to support project reporting, with the ability to interpret key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics.
