**Consumer Health Plan Product Owner - IT Manager**
**Position overview**
Supply Chain Business Technology Product Lines (PLs)
are responsible for the technological direction across business segments and serve as a critical point of contact for business and JJT. As a product owner, you will work with JJT and Business Leaders to identify and prioritize solutions for your product line and own the consistent implementation of these solutions across the business. You will exhibit strong influence and real passion for driving the organization towards consistent technology solutions aligned to our overall JJT strategy. You will need to continuously improve throughput of the various product line organization and ensure that value is realized by the business through the JJT solution and capabilities. You will have a strong view of external IT capabilities in the market and how they can be applied to drive business value for J&J.;
In this role, you will be part of a strong Foundational Planning Systems and Solutions Product Line Team. You will collaborate closely with our business partners to manage and deliver planning capabilities to enable a more effective and agile end to end supply chain.
**Tasks & Responsibilities**:
**Process & technology leadership**
- PLAN Domain Specialist for Production Planning and Detailed Scheduling
- Demonstrate a strong understanding of J&J; business processes
- Provide expertise to business in available solutions
- Manage interdependencies with other functions within supply chain
- Work closely with business partners in any process re-engineering initiatives
- Identify and understand product offerings from external vendors
- Explore new technologies for continuous process improvement
**Projects & Enhancement execution**
- Accountable for delivery of PLAN projects and initiatives (quality, cost, schedule)
- Work closely with Business partners, Business Technology Leaders (BTL) and Product Owners to align and determine best solutions and services to address business problems in this area
- Business/functional analyst responsibilities including requirements gathering, product design and configuration
- Work with the business stakeholders to prioritize backlogs. Prioritize initiatives to provide effective realization of business value.
- Liaison with technical/infrastructure teams
- Tracks progress of product throughout the project cycles
**Platform Reliability & Performance**
- Plan and execute to improve performance and adoption of the Platform.
- Connect with platform owners, technical services team, information security and risk management team and other stakeholders to resolve high priority incidents and compliance related escalations.
- Be a point of contact for priority incidents to communicate to business (including root cause management and permanent fixes)
- Manage escalations of ageing incidents
**Qualifications**
- Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree, ideally in the field of computer science
- 10+ years of experience in SC technology; Must include 7+ years of Planning and ERP systems, Application Design, Build and Support within a manufacturing company, preferably in the healthcare industry
- Excellent business analysis and functional skills implementing planning systems with focus on production planning and detailed scheduling (e.g. APO, Compass, SAP ERP, OMP)
- Very strong process knowledge in production planning and detailed scheduling
- Knowledge of SNP and/or PP/DS Optimizer
- High level of experience in SAP ERP processes and data models, particularly those integrating with Plan e.g. PP, MM, SD
- Experience and background in end-to-end supply chain planning processes - e.g, Demand Planning, Supply Planning, Advanced planning capabilities
- Experience with SCRUM and Agile
- Experience in working with multiple partners within a matrix organization
- Previous experience in working in a global, cross-functional capacity is required
- Ability to consider upstream and downstream process impacts and anticipate/identify and breakdown complex problems and drive solutions
- Strive for continuous improvements to drive efficiencies and progress towards agile ways of working fit for Consumer Health digital organization
- Ability to embrace changes and to deliver IT solutions in a fast changing business/IT environment.
- Ensure appropriate and effective communication flow among stakeholders and leadership
- Capable of working as part of a team and on own initiative.
