HR Technology and Analytics Branch (HRMOI) is responsible for the development and implementation of the HR Technology strategy and Roadmap that enables efficient and effective HR business processes and activities while ensuring compliance with HR Policies and legislative requirements.
Our technology strategy priorities are to create value for the Organization through provision of trusted workforce data and analytics for smarter people management decisions, reduced administrative burden for our employees through automation and self-services, and making life at work better through awesome employee experience.
WFP has started the implementation of Workday Human Capital Management and is currently looking for an associate to join the Project Management team.
The position reports directly to the Senior Project Manager. It coordinates closely with the PMO Coordinator and the HCM Functional Leads in order to ensure a successful project delivery and deployment. The incumbent will focus on status reporting, adherence and support for Workday methodology and delivery standards, supporting team for schedule, data validation, testing, and will have exposure to new tools and technology in support of the workstreams as they move through the various stages of the implementation.
**ACCOUNTABILITIES/RESPONSIBILITIES**:
The specific responsibilities of the incumbent include, but are not limited to:
1. Support the Project in producing (complete and to high quality) all the deliverables in scope
2. Ensure,
completion and quality of all required documentation and reviews as prescribed by the Workday methodology and WFP timeline;
3. Assist in effective project management and planning for the HCM Project
4. Assist workstream leads in design, test, validation and delivery of their Workday deliverables as required;
5. Contribute to change by actively delivering and encouraging support for new ways of working
6. Support in monitoring and maintaining the project plan status, including accurate and up-to-date tracking of consolidated schedules, key milestones, etc.
7. Support Senior Project Manager with weekly administrative tasks to include any monitoring and reporting on project status, progress and health of the project via internal status reporting tools and proactively highlighting issues or risks within the project
8. Support the Senior Project Manager, PMO Coordinator and the HCM Functional Leads in ensuring the project is adequately resourced
9.
Manage project resource list/contact information and support change team with distribution lists
10. Support in reviewing and ensuring the closure of Action Items for the project, as well as Issues and Risks are managed effectively with stakeholders
11. Support the Project Manager in preparing change orders, presentations for DA or stage reviews, inputs to Project Board /Steering Committee presentations
12. Attend key project meetings as assigned, and produce detailed, comprehensive meeting minutes and updating the applicable SmartSheets or Teams reporting tools as required
13. Assist the Senior Project Manager/Functional Leads in liaising with Business Process Owners (BPOs) and Business Process Experts (BPEs), project team members, including scheduling meetings and planning team/project activities, functional reviews, test, validation and field level review support
14. Monitor and follow-up with Workday Delivery Assurance Checkpoints to ensure compliance and scheduled reviews with WFP.
**QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE REQUIRED**:
**Education**: Bachelor Level University Degree with experience in Information Systems, Human Resources, Project Management, Business Administration, or related fields.
**Experience**: A minimum of 3-5 years of work experience in the area of Project Control, Human Resources, and/or Business Analysis
Experience in the development of and/or providing Quality Assurance and support for project documentation such as business cases, project plans, business processes, business requirements, test plans and test reports.
Experience in creating and delivering concise and affective communication artifacts, such as PowerPoint presentations, timelines, status reports, RAID logs and Gap Analysis required
Ability to support HR, FIN, IT and field stakeholders/SMEs to map project priorities and goals to the outcomes and deliverables in scope
Support test planning,
scenario development and execution as assigned
Experience with HR technology implementation and change support on a global scale
Experience in project management monitoring and reporting
