We are currently seeking an Estimating Specialist (Piping), reporting directly to the Piping Estimating Section Head to join our Estimating team based in Rome, Italy.

About The Role:

You will work in the Estimating department producing piping estimates for specific proposals and/or projects, and your key accountabilities will be the following:

1. Analysis of bidder requirements and ITB documentation
2. Preparation of piping material take off in accordance with T. EN methodology
3. Coordinate the MTO activities performed by HVEC
4. Check of material take off in line with the tender documentation
5. Priced BOM and BOQ preparation including MTO completion, forced detail estimate and appropriate allowances level
6. Preparation of piping reports
7. Develop simplified requisitions for budget inquiry and liaise with procurement department
8. Analysis of commercial bid tabulation
9. Support in collecting all relevant data for quantities and price benchmarking
10. Setting piping cost estimate
11. Preparation of price breakdown for the commercial offer to be submitted
12.



Updating and maintaining data in bank and tools
13. Coordination with piping design, material management, welding, and coating departments
14. Liaise with Subcontracting Department for the BOQ finalization

About You:

We love to hear from you and how you match with this position. To be successful in this mission you should consider the following requirements:

1. High school diploma or relevant technical diploma.
2. A minimum of 3 years experience performing similar functions in the refinery/petrochemical industry
3. High knowledge of Office sources (Excel, Access) and Database (Oracle, Java)
4. Basic understanding of the principles of cost control, estimating and project reporting
5. Previous experience in Project execution and use of SPMAT, 3D software and Autocad are considered a plus
6. Effective communication and presentation skills
7. English fluent
