Join us as a **Safety **Assurance M**anager** and you will be loolking at a career defining role based in **Rome**
**Your Role**:
As a Safety Assurance Manager you will manage,
perform and ensure the activities related to safety assurance in the Projects and Programs.
**Your Challenges**:
- Coordinate all the Safety Assurance activities on the project as per Safety process defined in Signaling Safety Instruction
- Perform Safety analysis, manage Hazard Log, review RAM, Cyber, V&V;, T&C; activities from a Safety perspective
- Define safety plan and manage safety workload and associated planning
- Support tenders and/or RC teams to integrate product/system in projects
- Build the Safety Reports and the Safety Cases
- Organize and attend periodic Safety Reviews
- Defend Safety Case argumentations in front of internal (QS, Safety Assessor) and external (ISA) assessors; define and follow-up action plans to close the findings of the assessors
- Manage the Safety Assurance Engineers involved on the project
- If identified as Safety Leader for a Safety Issue, manage 8D steps as per process
**Qualifications**:
- Engineering degree
- Mastering Cenelec Standards for Safety (or equivalent standards if needed: AREMA, IEEE, etc) and safety methodology & concepts/principles
- 5 years successful experience in safety assurance, including 2 years in Railway business
- English operational in reading and writing for technical documentation
