ENVISION YOUR FUTURE JOB
We are looking for a motivated, curious and enterprising talent to join us at our Barberini Plant in Pescara (PE).
As Project Manager you will support Luxottica's Manufacturing Team by overseeing the entire new project from end to end, and performing key tasks that can make the project successful.
Here some of the other responsibilities you will have:
- Track project costs in order to meet the budget
- Manage a detailed project schedule and work plan
- Provide project updates on a consistent basis to various stakeholders about strategy, adjustments, and progresses
- Manage contracts with vendors and suppliers by assigning tasks and communicating expected deliverables
- Utilize industry best practices, techniques, and standards throughout entire project execution
- Monitor progress and make adjustments as needed
- Measure project performance to identify areas for improvement
- Maintain working relationships and strengthen feedback loops between Partner, production, engineering, quality control & supply chain department.
- Provide analytical support; suggest, calculate and monitor production KPI's.



Review internal processes and estimating future requirements.

You got a PhD or a Master Degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or similar
You have 6-10 years of project management and related experience
Project Management Professional (PMP) certification preferred
You have strong familiarity with project management software tools, methodologies, and best practices
You got previous experience seeing projects through the full life cycle




You can prove your ability to solve problems creatively
You have deep understanding of manufacturing process, engineering, scientific and other technical information
You have knowledge about equipment comply requirements and have understanding related to Health, Safety and Environmental Policies
You have technical knowledge of LEAN principles and Continuous Improvement methodologies
You have proven ability to complete projects according to outlined scope, budget, and timeline
You have excellent analytical skills and complex problem-solving skills and knowledge using Root Cause Analysis, DMAIC or similar ones
You have understanding statistical tools, such as:
DOE, GR&R;, Cpk, SPC, etc.
You got basic cost accounting knowledge
You have excellent ability to maintain project plans
You have strong interpersonal skills and are able to produce effective oral and written communications
You are fluent in Italian and English
