For our Supply Chain Operations in Italy, we are looking for an:
**Supply Chain Operations Lead**
**Purpose of the role**.
Join us as our Supply Chain Operations Lead and play a critical role in driving business success through efficient and compliant supply execution for our customers. In this role, you'll oversee all warehousing, distribution, and logistics processes, ensuring we meet our service level agreements as well as GxP and our Quality standards. You'll also manage and develop a team of SCM specialists who are dedicated to market inventory replenishment supply and demand planning, as well as leading the IBP processes on a market level. With your operational and financial oversight of the 3PL in-market warehousing & distribution operations, you'll have the opportunity to make a real impact. You will report directly to the Director of Supply Chain Operations and manage a team of Senior Specialists, Specialists,
and/or Associate Specialists. In this role, you will be the primary point of contact serving as the first line of supply chain management for our Commercial Operations and our partners in the market. You will collaborate with local, regional, and global stakeholders, including Demand Fulfillment, Global/Regional Logistics Services, Finance, Quality, Regulatory, and Environment, Health & Safety, to ensure seamless coordination and alignment.
**Main responsibilities**
- Leading a team of Senior Specialists, Specialists and/or Associate Specialists. Responsible for objectives setting, planning, performance management and monitoring, professional development, training, coaching and recruitment of employees. Maintaining (a) safe, secure, and compliant work environment and practices. Demonstrating behaviors in line with Organon’s cultural values.
- Exercising effective oversight of all 3PL operations related to importation, receipt, storage,
transportation and distribution of Organon products in(to) his/her territory. This can include promotional materials.
- Providing leadership in regards of the market-level Demand Planning and IBP processes. Ensuring adequate demand management at market level by the DP team to enable to enable a high-quality demand signal. Understanding key drivers behind market demand forecast such as major demand events and commercial strategies.
- Ensuring these operations are executed in accordance with GxP, Organon Quality standards, policies, and procedures, as well as local regulations. Collaborating with In-Market Quality and Regulatory Affairs. Proactively identifying and reporting compliance risks and issues.
- Driving continuous improvement for his/her team, with the 3PL partner and with other functions in SCM and with other Organon groups at market level.
- Accomplishing financial objectives by financial forecasting; budget management and expenditure control, analyzing variances.
Identifying financial risks deploying risk mitigation and corrective actions. Identifying cost-saving opportunities and driving action plans to accomplish these.
- Ensuring financial compliance and inventory control: e.g., SOX controls; inventory counting and reconciliation, destruction of product.
- Acting as key contact to the local OCO leadership team (LT) regarding SCM matters. Building and maintaining good relationships with functions in the local subsidiary, including Commercial, Finance, Regulatory, Customer Service. Providing SCM expert advice and counsel to the LT and/or these functions to enable the success of the local Organon subsidiary.
- Implementing global and regional SCM strategies, initiatives, and guidelines on market level in collaboration with other SCM groups. Collaborating with SCM peers in other markets to share know-how and drive synergies and improvements.
Informing line management about performance, progress, key issues, and risks.
**Your profile**
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent required, an advanced degree in an appropriate discipline is beneficial.
- Minimum of 5 years
