Territory Manager - Medical Device - South Italy

As we look to drive the next phase of THERAKOS’ growth we are seeking to expand our team with talented leaders and professionals.
We are currently recruiting for a permanent full-time role as Territory Manager for Central and Southern Italy regions (Sicily and Sardinia included). Regions: LAZIO, UMBRIA, ABRUZZO, MOLISE, SICILIA, MARCHE, PUGLIA, BASILICATA, SARDEGNA, CAMPANIA, CALABRIA.
It reports to the Italy Business Manager.

The role is field/home,



preferably based in Rome, Italy.
The purpose of the role
1. Open new and manage existing accounts to deliver sales in line with agreed targets.
2. Identify and develop Extracorporeal Photopheresis (ECP) patient referral pathways through clinical and non-clinical stakeholder management.
3. Identify new disease and business opportunities within territory.
Main Responsibilities
- Deliver sales growth in line with company goals, by managing given current accounts and acquiring new ones
- Monitoring public hospitals’ tenders and managing bid-tenders processes to deliver sales growth
- Project management responsibility for key accounts
- Develop, optimize and benchmark patient referral pathways for key accounts
- Develop network to clinical and non-clinical stakeholders
- Actively drive and ensure reimbursement for current and new indications through development of local commissioning knowledge and collaboration with Therakos Health Economics and Reimbursement teams
- Deliver the full value of Therakos through collaborate with Therakos Research, Field Technical Support, Clinical and Scientific Development, and other departments to meet company goals




- Effectively leverage the expanding Therakos EMEA Professional Education offering, as well as developing local KOL led events.
- Attend professional meetings (i.e. congresses, symposia) to build networks of contacts on behalf of the company
**Qualifications**:
- Degree level education, business/marketing qualifications desirable.
- Successful sales track record, ideally within the Medical Device sector, 3-5 years experience in Pharmaceutical sales /healthcare managers also considered.
- Experienced in commercial or marketing functions within the Italian healthcare market
- Excellent understanding of the Italian public hospitals tender process
- Good analytical and conceptual skills
- Ability to work virtually and collaborate in a matrix organization
- Strong presentation, project management and negotiation skills
- Willingness to travel significantly within the given territory and occasionally globally (up to 80%)
- Enthusiastic, dedicated,



committed and autonomous approach to work
- Excellent Italian and English communication skills, both written and spoken
- Willingness to travel significantly (up to 80%)
- EU driver license
- EU work permit
