We are currently seeking an International Tax Specialist Junior, reporting directly to the Head of Tax to join our International Tax team based in Rome, Italy.
**About the Job**
The tax position is within Technip Energies Group Tax Area and is considered as a transversal / corporate function even if it serves mainly Rome Operating Center.
The position includes both operational and corporate tax aspects, and covers mainly Europe, Central Asia and Middle-East countries.
The International Tax Specialist Junior will participate/provide support, in particular in terms of:
- Tax accounting, tax compliance and group tax reporting (IFRS) related to various entities/jurisdictions (participate in the quarterly close, review tax calculation, liaise with local accounting teams and Group Corporate Tax, prepare the quarterly tax risk matrix);
- Assistance during the tax audit process and tax claim/refund: preparation of the documentation, legal researches;
- Assistance with regards Transfer Pricing issues / Country by Country Report;
- Provide support in relation to international mobility issues and liaise with People & Culture Department;
- Draft tax memo at tendering stage (mainly in English): optimization of the contractual structure (legal entity vs Branch, JV, Consortium Agreement), review contract, estimation of the tax impact, risk mitigation;
- Support in the implementation of the contractual structure and follow up on tax issues at project execution stage (e.g. analysis of the local tax law, VAT implications);
- Coordination with external tax consultants;
- Punctual administrative tasks (i.e. registration of new consultants, review of Engagement Letters and opening of associated Purchase Orders, due diligence procedure, review and follow-up of consultants fees).

**About You**
We’d love to hear from you if your profile meets the following essential requirements:
Qualifications:
- Economy/Accounting Degree, with specialization in taxes
- First professional experience in Tax within a Big Four or Tax Law firm (“studio tributario”) or, within the Tax Department of a Multinational Company
- Previous experience in an international context (e.g.
professional experience and/or university exchange program abroad)
- Office Automation skills (in particular Power Point, Excel
Languages:
- English (Fluent)
- Good French understanding/speaking would be a plus
