The Department of Economics at the Ca' Foscari University of Venice invites applications for a fixed-term assistant professorship (Ricercatore a Tempo Determinato tipo A, rtd-A).
The position is for three years with the possibility of an extension for two more years conditional on a positive evaluation by the department and has a gross annual remuneration of 36.344 euros.
Applications from scholars working abroad and who satisfy special conditions are treated under a favorable tax waiver scheme (the net salary under these special conditions is approx 90% of the gross salary ).

We are seeking candidates with a research focus on econometric models and methods; experience in time series analysis will be appreciated.




The candidate should hold (or be close to obtaining) a PhD in Economics, Statistics, Applied Mathematics, or related fields.
Applicants must be prepared to teach econometrics and quantitative methods courses at undergraduate and graduate level.
