**Job Description Summary**:
The Rivalta Product Quality Leader will demonstrate accountability for functional, business, and broad company objectives. In this role, you will integrate and develop processes that meet business needs across the organization, manage complex issues within functional area(s) of expertise, be involved in long-term planning, and contribute to the overall business strategy.
**Essential Responsibilities**:
- Drive cultural transformation in Rivalta Plant for a mindset intolerant to defects and with deep awareness of flight safety.
- Provide leadership for Quality organization and Technical activities related to Product Quality and Process Compliance.
- Lead technical efforts in customer disruptions,



inventory control, manufacturing losses, and overall shop costs.
- Provide technical leadership on problem identification and generation of countermeasures on all issues related to product improvement and conformity and process improvement and compliance.
- Promote the use of Problem-Solving Lean GE Standards and six-sigma methodology in driving plant quality improvements.
- Lead for Quality, operating rhythm, connecting daily management system to Monthly Operating reviews and Strategic Plans (Hoshin Kanri).
- Select, hire, train, and provide ongoing leadership of assigned personnel to meet schedules, quality and measurements, and organizational goals.
- Manage manufacturing process programs and lead area in pursuit of state of the art technology and processes that will enhance organization's productivity. Manage organization's cost and investment programs.
- Promote a working environment to achieve excellence in productivity, customer service, quality, and EHS.
- Compile and report all organization measurements on quality and quality related cost.
- Interface with design engineering, projects, assembly,



and vendors to assure requirements are met according to applicable specifications on time.
- Drive initiatives to maximize employee contribution in driving improvements in product quality and services.
- Ensure all Quality functions at facility are staffed and well trained to perform their duties effectively.
- Lead the effort to develop and implement plans to meet customers' requirements for product quality, cost and delivery.
- Manage Rivalta Product Quality within the operating budget.
- Responsible for the day-to-day Rivalta Product Quality, Special Processes and Lab operations.
**Qualifications/Requirements**:
- Master’s Degree in Aerospace Engineering.
- Significant experience in Aviation with acquired deep awareness of flight safety and airworthiness fundamentals.
- Significant experience in a quality control, improvement role that provides leadership to cross-functional teams in the quality / process improvement environment.
- Proven leadership and team-building skills. Fluent in both Italian and English.




- EU work permit.

- Strong oral and written communication skills.
- Proven analytical abilities.
