**SUMMARY OF ROLE**
By Joining us as a Field Service Technician Valves your role will be to support our customers at site (maily in Italy) by delivering activities required for maintenance, troubleshooting and incident resolution, technical support for valves and their accessories
You will become part of our Lifecycle Services team, within the Automation Solutions division,
which helps our customers carry out maintenance, improve reliability and boost performance of Valves and their components. You will be executing in-house repairs, maintenance at customer’s sites, start up, diagnostic, on call service and preparation before site installation.
The Field Service Engineer is responsible for executing work according to the Emerson standards of safety and quality.

**IN THIS ROLE YOU WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR:
**Troubleshooting & repairs of valves and related accessories (mainly control and isolation types)
- Installation and startup on site
- Calibration and diagnosis (e.g. FISHER digital positioners)
- Provide technical support to customers
- Coordinating partners and / or sub contractors for critical / large maintenance jobs
- Be able and willing to perform emergency call-out services to provide customers with fast and efficient services.
- Execute the requested job in the best way to meet customer’s deadlines and expectations.
- Keep workshop/workplace(s) tidy, in order and representative.
- Communicate issues concerning customer satisfaction or customer requests for Emerson support to the responsible person in Service Management or Sales Management.
- Tutoring customer training.
- Execute all works and task concerning repair jobs (all repairs, installations, relevant repair reports, training etc.) in accordance with each divisions guidelines
- Adhere to local and international Emerson Trade Compliance procedures in connection with all transactions and business practices.
- Adhere to company’s and customer HSEQ standards at all time
**FOR THIS ROLE YOU WILL NEED**:
- Diploma in technical discipline, such as mechanical / electrical.
- Relevant experience a from process industry such as Oil & Gas Refineries, Biotechnology Pharmaceutical, Chemical,
- Good communications skills and fluent in English -written and spoken.
- Technical competencies (on actuators, pneumatic and electrical)
- Availability to work non-office hour
- Preferred experience with control and safety valves
- Driving license for car (class B)
- Italian and English proficient
- Willingness to travel around 70% of the time
