in ATTR Amyloidosis and Gene Therapy Therapeutic Areas in Rare Disease Medical Affairs Department.
The hiring of the Sr MAS, ATTR Amyloidosis and Gene Therapy fits the iTALent purpose, providing a rare growth and development opportunity to lead scientific innovation in our Rare Disease Therapeutic Areas.
The Sr MAS, ATTR Amyloidosis and Gene Therapy will report to the Italy Rare Disease Medical Director.
- Why Patients Need You
- The Sr MAS, ATTR Amyloidosis and Gene Therapy is an integral member of the Rare Disease (RD) Italy Medical Affairs organization. The RD category has been developed to maximize the existing in-line portfolio in hemophilia, acromegaly and other endocrine disorders, ATTR Amyloidosis while positioning Pfizer as a rare disease category leader with an exciting and promising pipeline, including a gene therapy (“GTx”) manufacturing and technology platform.
- Sr MAS will join Rare Disease Medical Team and will be responsible for ATTR Amyloidosis and Gene Therapy in Italy.
- Will have direct relationships with healthcare professionals and research centers focused on increasing quality of partnerships to share the common final objective: patient’s health improvement.




- Key Experience Offer of this Role- Leading the conversation to positively influence the external environment and help patients with rare diseases-
- Developing local medical strategy-
- Transforming our “go to market model”: act as critical change agent leveraging on medical and scientific capabilities to lead acceleration of new capabilities, including digital and multi-channel medical.- Primary Responsibilities- Maintaining the highest scientific standards during in/external activities to provide deep medical and scientific expertise-
- Establish a strong collaborative scientific relationship with relevant stakeholders in the assigned area (KOLs, medical societies, and other relevant internal/external stakeholders)-
- Integrate customer medical insights into the country medical and brand strategy, provide medical and scientific strategic support to the regional medical team, medical leadership to the country brand team, country and / or local XFTs, drive implementation of the country medical plan.-




- Contribute to the implementation of local medical strategies and life cycle clinical plans for ATTR Amyloidosis and Gene Therapy medicines-
- Ensure safe, proper, and effective uses of assigned products, contributing to patients (and populations) health and well-being-
- Observe compliance rules, ensuring activities and communications are conducted in compliance with all policies, guidelines, and regulation and ensure the respect of medical independenceWhat You Offer- Medicine degree is required- Specialty training or PhD, academic experience or clinical experience are strongly preferred- > 5 years industry is required- Experience in conducting clinical research activities is strongly preferred- Knowledge of clinical development processes- General knowledge in the relevant Therapeutic Area is preferred- Fluent English plus local language- Excellent communication and public speaking skills- Adherence to Pfizer Values: Courage, Excellence,
