An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Junior Consultant to join our EHS Compliance team based in Rome for a 6-month internship program.
The EHS Compliance Team is part of Ramboll’s Environment & Health Division which consists of like-minded individuals who are passionate about Environment, Health, Safety and Sustainability and are assisting Ramboll’s clients with their most challenging problems.
To succeed in this role, you must have affinity with digital solutions and Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) management systems and good written and spoken English communication skills. A certain percentage of smart-working will be allowed, however a minimum presence in the office will be required.



The role may also require work trips across the country and other Ramboll offices in Europe.

You will join our Rome Office
As our new Junior Consultant you will be part of our successful team composed of geologists, engineers, environmental scientists, chemists, biologists, etc. working together in an international network for a variety of projects regarding mainly contaminated site management, expert services, permitting, due diligence, impact assessment, water treatment, health and safety, climate risk and sustainability.

The job will require you to:
- Support the execution of projects focused on compliance with Italian and European health, safety and environmental legislation,
- Support the implementation of innovative digital EHS compliance tools and tech-enabled EHS programs for various industrial companies
- Work closely with our Italian and international teams within the Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) Compliance Teams
- Supporting internal EHS compliance programs for various industrial companies

- Scientific background (Degree in Engineering, Chemistry, Geology)
- Good knowledge of Italian Health, Safety and Environmental Legislation
- Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office




- Qualifications in the areas of quality, health & safety and environmental management ISO standards (ISO9001, ISO14001 and ISO45001) and knowledge of Environmental, Social, Governance (ESG) are an advantage
