Posizione The Software Validation Engineer supports the validation process during product development, acquiring the ability to define and manage software tests on the basis of the software / system requirements required for each project, also acquiring a deep knowledge of the integration strategies and software test. Using the available test he/she analyzes the software and system requirements acquiring the ability to define the test specifications and implementing them on test benches.
He/she has a specific knowledge of the tools and the test methodology that will allow him/her to integrate existing tools and create new ones. He/she interacts with external collaborators for conducting tests, if the internal capacity is not sufficient.
He/she prepares the Test Report to be shared internally and with the Customer, on the basis of the Company standards. He/she updates the Product Development team, the Quality Engineers, the documentation and the database with the results obtained. He/she works closely with the Electronic and Software Design teams and with the other R&D; departments.
Manage the SW Validation Planning
Analysis of system / software requirements
Definition of test specifications that include integration strategy, integration testing strategy, verificationand validation tools, test acceptance criterion
Definition of timing associated with the activity
Implement and run tests on test benches
Development and integration of test tools
Manage measurement equipment;
Prepare and update the documentation required for the project;
Interact with the development team, customers and suppliers during the validation phase;
To pursue the compliance with legal requirements, customer requirements and implement the agreed requirements
Requisiti
They are required:
Master degree in Electronic Engineering or degree in Computer Engineering
English:
good level (written and spoken)
Knowledge of basic principles of analog electronics
Knowledge of basic principles of digital electronics
Basic knowledge and interpretation of Embedded software architectures
Basic knowledge of high-level programming languages, scripting
Basic knowledge of 8/16/32 bit microcontrollers
Ability to use measuring instruments (digital multimeter, oscilloscope)
Basic concepts of lean manufacturing
Real-time software usage experience on microcontrollers appreciated
LIN / CAN communication tools
High attention to details
