**Job Description Summary**: This role is for the FP&A; Manager of the Aero Alliance, a joint-venture owned 50% by General Electric Company and 50% by Baker Hughes, with an estimated revenue of $1.3B and operations across 5 countries. The business has multiple overhaul and repair shops globally and several product lines to serve our customers. The JV’s purpose is to deliver improved product, repair and execution strategy & fulfillment for the JV partners and Authorized Service Providers.
This role will be reporting to the CFO of the entire JV with a focus on the income statement analytics and reporting requirements.
The Manager of FP&A; will work closely with Finance and JV cross functional leadership to ensure the proper level of financial & key operational metric accountability infrastructure.
**Job Description**:
**Essential Responsibilities**
In this role, the Manager of FP&A; will:
- Own wing to wing financial statement planning requirements (full income statement, balance sheet, and cash flow)
- Partner with Controllership to ensure timely and accurate stand-alone financial reporting to the JV Board of Directors, Shareholders, and stakeholders
- Lead all FP&A; planning cycles (e.g., Rolling forecasts, Operating plans, analysis to set targets, providing guidance to team, coordination across global teams, Baker Hughes, GE Vernova and GE Aerospace)
- Prepare financial content for strategic reviews, including the JV Board of Directors
- Develop robust operating framework for ~$0.5B working capital management
- Lead and provide insightful, actionable analytics on strategic initiatives (e.g., cost out)
- Track progress against plans at a granular level. Recommend actions to get to planned performance for the operating team
- Lead Product line CFO & CEO closing calls and preparation of closing decks
- Partner with operations to maintain key operational measurements, KPIs & rhythms
- Work with CEO staff to develop Capital expenditure spend, say-do & tracking mechanisms
- Ensure cross charge reconciliation, cross company alignment & transparency
- Oversee month-end, quarter-end and year-end closing processes and streamline for distribution of financial information
- Driving standardization & process improvement across operating businesses in all aspects of planning and reporting, including best practice sharing
- Provide coaching & development to multiple direct reports
**Qualifications/Requirements**
- Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited university or college or relevant experience
- Significant years of experience in a finance or accounting function
- Previous experience with financial reporting, consolidation & closings
