**About the Role**
The Platform Engineering Manager will be part of the Customer Market Solution engineering and R&D; team and will be responsible for setting new design standards and helping companies platform owners in translating market’s demands into technical solutions.




The Platform engineering Manager will report directly to CMS Technical Director and will be responsible for setting rules and policies for modules management, standard design practices, to harmonize processes and solutions (look and feel)
Main responsibilities will include:
- Enable an approach to machine design ever more based on modularity
- Accountability for total cost optimization initiative
- Promote design to value in manufacturing, cost, assembly, and service
- Accountability for PLM roadmap
- Promote processes harmonization
**What you need to be successful**
- 6 years of relevant experience in a similar role in industrial solution and automation companies;
- Master’s degree in mechanical engineering or similar degrees;
- Good understanding of the English language, both written and oral;
- Personal drive and result oriented;
- Good design skills;
- High technical (manufacturing engineering) knowledge;
- Effective communication skills to easily build trust towards colleagues and stakeholders;
- People management skills.
