In **Surgical Vision **,



we are seeking for our new **Area Sales Manager **, who will take in charge the responsibility of our team in Center-South Italy.
You will join the Sales Team and be prepared to successfully drive growth across the J&J; Surgical Vision portfolio with sustainable profitability. Supervises a team of Field Representatives (Specialists, TMs, BDMs, etc.) in the territory assigned.Contributes to build Business Plans, Strategy reviews and ensures a proper implementation in the field. Manages main HCPs, KOLs and no-clinical stakeholders into the territory assigned.
**Main areas of responsibility**
- Delivers commercial targets (sales, market share, etc.) with new and established medical and professional accounts and to increase the market penetration of the assigned products compliantly with all the external regulations, HCC procedures and any policy and procedure relevant for the role.
- Support the achievement of profitability targets




- Executes the commercial plan
- Reaches Commercial Excellence and Operational KPIs and targets
- Directly manages KOLS in the territory assigned
- Reaches Tender success targets by implementing successful value creation strategies and tactics
**Main activities**:
- Manages a team of Field representatives.
- Development of commercial plan to achieve the business targets.
- Reports sales results against forecasts to senior management as well as proposes corrective actions and plans to ensure objectives are met.
- Defines Market Access Strategies and co-creates with MA Team value-creation initiatives.
- Lead multistakeholder (external and internal) complex negotiation;
- Establishes incentive plan parameters and sales goals. Recommends ad hoc plans and contests.
- Develops and monitors departmental budget. Ensures expenses stay within budget.
- Contributes in the preparation of commercial plans and campaigns, business plans and product development plans.




- Resolves conflicts, problems and customer complaints.
- Directly manages National Key Accounts, when requested.
- Monitors and ensures that CommEx KPIs are reached. Interacts with CommEx team con continuous improvement initiatives
- Ensures that his team is properly trained and cooperate with training department in addressing team needs
**Qualifications**:
- University degree, preferably in Life Sciences, Engineer, Business administration
- At least 10 years of working experience in Sales and/or Marketing roles
- Proven experience in the healthcare sector is required
- Familiarity with the Medtech industry would be advantageous, with preferred knowledge of tender management process.
- Minimum 3 years experience in people management.
- At least 3-5 years of experience in developing business to business relationships at a senior level
**Soft Skills**:
- Fluent in Italian and English




- Evidence of navigate and network to a high degree in a matrix organization;
- Successful track record in managing and negotiating contracts;
- Knowledge of the Healthcare System;
- Understanding of health economic principles;
