Role Overview
We are looking for you to join us as Key Account Manager for our National and International Key Accounts:
You are responsible for establishing an intensive relationship with our key retailers. You are interested in the payment industry and in new developments in connected commerce. You develop effective customer strategies and ensure that our customers know, understand and derive maximum benefit from our large product portfolio.
The role is based in the southwest of Germany and you would be expected to be out in the field as well. You will report to the Director Account Management.
What you will do
Client Relationship Building
- Visit our key accounts in Italy and ensure they have excellent knowledge of our business and service
- Understand merchants' business needs and drive growth through cross-selling and upselling
- Maintain close relationships with local contacts to drive local expansion opportunities
- Monitor service delivery to ensure customer satisfaction
- Make sure all Sales activities are clearly reported, documented, and shared internally
- Scout for new businesses whilst creating and maintaining productive partnerships
Ongoing sales activities
- Renegotiate agreements with existing customers and win business with new locations
- Analyze portfolio trends, diagnose the root cause of performance, and create actionable plans for operational improvements
Account Strategy & Planning
- Built and execute strategic account plans to drive growth
- Produce and distribute statistics and information to Head Offices and accounts in your region
- Input into the development of global account strategy by providing local insights and nuances
Who you are
- Be a self-starter and be able to work as part of a team
- High level of self-motivation
- An outstanding sales track record and ability to convince, sell and close additional services and products within an existing client portfolio
- Be confident and successful during calls and visits
- Be a relationship builder with strong service attitude
- Very good presentation skills, expressive
- You are very familiar with the area and its surroundings
- You love networking and willing to travel at a minimum of 50% of its working time
