Are you passionate about shaping the future of healthcare? At Dexcom, our Market Access team Italy is focused on expanding our impact and driving growth. We’re seeking a collaborative and results-oriented Senior Market Access Specialist to work on innovative strategies that align with our core values and ambitious growth objectives. You will report into the Sr Manager Market Access Italy, based in Italy.
Where you come in:
- Responsible for understanding and satisfying the market access/funding/reimbursement requirements in Italy
- Research and conduct analysis of the target markets in terms of reimbursement and funding,
existing and emerging payer policies, competitive landscape, trends, tenders, pricing, contracting strategies, and any potential barriers to provider and patient access. They provide information and support to influence key opinion leaders, pertaining to improved outcomes and public policy matters
- Part of both the Commercial Country team and the EMEA market access team and participate in EMEA wide strategy development and projects
- You will report into the Italy Market Access Leader. You will have a particular responsibility in supporting and enabling the possibility of prescription of Dexcom products, acting both at the national level by encouraging the broadening of indications for therapy adoption and at the regional level by encouraging inclusion in supply tenders
- Partner engagement strategies and tactics to drive the funding and uptake of Dexcom products, HTA submissions, value based contracting strategies, tender strategy etc as applicable
- You will be working closely with the Global and EMEA Access teams to establish appropriate evidence and documentation including health economic data and arguments to be used for reimbursement and product positioning, and communication to and with third party payers, government entities and other market access partners, e.g. Government Affairs.

What makes you successful:
- Education and experience in a relevant field, e.g. health insurance, HTA, health policy, public health
- Knowledge of market access for diabetes products or related medical devices
- Experience with market access in Italy
- Business/marketing or sales experience and the ability to link this insight to funding and reimbursement in-market
- Italian speaker, fluency in English
- Experience of working and contributing within in a matrix organization, including Commercial team and Regional MA teams
- Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization
- Must be able to communicate effectively in Italian, English
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals
- Ability to write routine reports and correspondence in English, Italian
- Ability to speak effectively in front of groups of customers or employees of the organization in English, Italian.

Travel Required:
- 25 to 50 % mainly in Italy
Experience and Education Requirements:
- Typically requires a minimum of 4-6 years of related experience and High School diploma/certificate or equivalent.
