**About the role**:
We are looking for an HR Generalist to join our growing Global HR team!
This position reports to the Vice President of Human Resources and will act as the main point of contact for HR and Payroll items at our facility in Pinerolo, IT.
This role will also ensure accurate and quality payroll for our employees across Italy, UK, France and Germany.
In addition, this role, will contribute Human Resources Generalist coverage and assistance as needed to the European HR team on company-wide projects and initiatives.
**Responsibilities**:
- Ensure payroll is processed accurately and on time in accordance with local agreements, processes, and expectations.




- Review each payroll process and delivery for each country with an external payroll provider and undertake changes, if required, including being the point-of-contact for new system implementations.
- Complete oversight of everything that will have an impact on payroll i.e.
pension transactions, mandatory declarations (medical insurance, contributions, training contributions), TFR indemnities (Italy) and follow up on working time and vacation requests.
- Conduct month end and year end payroll processing, including review to ensure that all payroll reconciliations are completed promptly and that unreconciled/unallocated items are investigated and resolved.
- Provide support on all payroll related matters, including legislative changes relating to payroll and taxes and ensure any changes are implemented with an external payroll provider.
- Ensure all statutory deductions are made and posted on time.
- Provide accurate payroll reports to the Finance team.
- Manage a positive relationship and ensure compliance with Service Level Agreements and KPI's with an external outsourced payroll provider, as applicable.
- Work to continuously improve and streamline payroll processes across all European locations.




- Responsible for developing and implementing internal compliance and regulatory controls relating to payroll processes.
- Ensure there is country specific process documentation in respect of payroll processes.
- Responsible for internal and external audit ensuring actions are taken in a timely manner.
- 4 - 6 years of experience as an HR Administrator or Generalist and a proven track record in a similar role, processing Italian and international payroll.
- Knowledge of Italian payroll legislation and current best practices.
- Knowledge of ADP Celergo and Papaya preferred.
**Skills Required**:
- Expertise in Italian and/or international payroll.
- Fluency in both English and Italian.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; friendly and professional demeanor.
- Strong influencing and interpersonal skills.




- Exceptional planning, prioritisation, and organisational skills.
- Ability to maintain the confidentiality, sensitivity, and security of information.
- Fully competent in Microsoft Office & Excel
