**Grade I**
**Position Snapshot**:
- Purina Commerciale, Field-based role (Campania, Italy)
- Permanent Contract
- Degree in Veterinary Medicine is required
- At least 2 years of sales experience in Veterinary industry, Pharmaceutical/Nutrition Company
- Previous veterinary Clinic experience would be highly preferred
- Residence in Campania area is a must
- Fluency in Italian and English is required.
**Position Summary**
You will support local sales development through strong collaboration with the area agents responsible for pet shops (operational cell) and through regular leverage of Purina CRM Tools and database and implementation of a calendar of Direct 2 Vet activities.




You will represent Purina as the strategic partner of choice in the pet food category through regular practice visits, meetings, and seminars; you will align with the Vet Regional Supervisor for the planning of all field activities, and you will identify and unlock additional business opportunities in the area of responsibility.
**A day in the Life of the Veterinary Advisor**:
- Identify new potential clinics and set strategies to align customers for recommending Purina diets as their primary therapeutic diet for their clients/patients.
- Implementing involvement strategies across the customer base and monitoring effectiveness.
- Engage with customers (eg, Veterinarins, Nurses,...) to support Product distribution / recommendation and achieve optimum distribution levels and the right brand visibility in vet clinics.
- Deliver information on Purina products and services through excellent written and oral communication/presentation skills. Contribute to increase the knowledge of the market upstreaming all significative information on competitors and other players activities.




- Develop and maintain high standards of knowledge in small animal nutrition (wide knowledge about pet physiology and veterinary medicine) and Purina's products (PPVD & Pro Plan maintenance ranges) as well as competitive alternatives through training, self-study, and market evaluation.
- Participate in training courses, ensuring the right knowledge of products, market, and services within their business scope. Should be able to guide the veterinarian's recommendation and consequently the possibility of use or sale directly in the clinic.
- Maintain and update the customer base to direct all resources to maximum potential. Compulsory usage of Purina CRM tools (VEEVA).
