Job Description: Are you the experienced Freight Solutions Specialist / Freight forwarder looking for the next chapter in your career?

You will be responsible for setting up a new customer-focused division within Samskip Multimodal Freight Solutions.

As an experienced Freight Solutions Specialist, you'll play a crucial role in developing our Italian/pan-European network to support our European Customers.
Your responsibilities will span a diverse range of tasks.

Responsibilities: Build a reliable alternative door-to-door solution focusing on reliability, transit time, and cost control.
Offer our valued customers a one-stop-shop solution, taking over full control of their logistics.
Support our core asset-driven business with this new division.
Ensure additional capacity is secured in the market.
Manage orders using group-owned and fixed subcontracted resources.
Maintain best-in-class service quality and solve operational issues.
Address service issues, identify new opportunities, and suggest service or cost improvements.
Qualifications:



Entrepreneurially driven expert with a passion for business growth.
Experience in European Short-sea, Rail, and Road logistics.
Strong sales and procurement skills.
Customer-focused team player.
At least 5 years of experience in a similar role.
Bachelor's degree in logistics or demonstrated experience.
Fluency in English (additional languages are welcome).
Good analytical skills and discipline.
International network of logistics partners to support our ambitions.
