The Italian affiliate of Novo Nordisk, based in Rome, is hiring a Clinical Research Manager (CRM). You will join our Clinical Operations Team and you will work in a hybrid work mode, being preferably domiciled in Rome or nearby locations.
**The Position**
This position reports to the Head of Clinical Operations in Italy. In the CRM role you will be responsible for the management and development of clinical trial monitoring staff within affiliate in accordance with Good Clinical Practice (GCP), ICH guidelines,



local regulations whilst maintaining the standards of the Novo Nordisk Way.
**Main Responsibilities**:
- Coaching, Mentoring and development of CRA’s in relation with different activities (identification of training needs, onboarding, performance management)
- Stakeholder and Line management by ensuring process alignment, collaboration, active interaction, and participation in local strategies
- Support the execution of trial feasibilities and the allocation of a clinical trial in the country
**Qualifications**
To be eligible for this role, you need to hold a life sciences degree, ideally with a post graduate qualification in research and to have a minimum of 5 years of relevant working experience in the role, of which at least one year of independent monitoring activities.
**Furthermore**:
- You are Fluent in both Italian and English.
- Excellent Knowledge of clinical trial methodology
- Proven experience of conducting clinical trials in accordance with Good Clinical Practice
- Experience managing/supervising a team highly desirable
**About the Department**
You will work in our Clinical, Medical and Regulatory (CMR) department at Novo Nordisk,
