**Posizione**:
**MARINE TECHNICAL SALES MANAGER**
**RESPONSIBILITIES**
Total responsibility for all sales activities for all Marine product lines within EMEA in close cooperation with the Segment Directors. In this position the Marine Senior Manager is responsible to achieve yearly sales and cost targets by organizing, including motivating and leading the sales team. Responsible for performance of the team EMEA, with also a dotted line for some reports in China and Asia,



and for ensuring that everyone within their team reaches their targets and team is performing.
**COMPETENCES**
The Marine Senior Manager is authorised to act in relation to personnel matters (authorise leave, performance appraisals, inspection of personnel files, training etc.) and sales budget for EMEA regions.
**TASKS**
- To optimize, motivating and leading the sales force within the assigned regions;
- Leading the development of a high performing sales team;
- Responsible for certain number of key accounts in his regions;
- Leading the sales activities to expand the customer base, increase sales as a consequence (share shift, end users initiatives, organize regional technical and commercial training);
- Implementation Funnel Management through Salesforce.co
- Track Accuracy Sales forecasting through SFDC.
- Track activity and analyse opportunities by utilizing SFDC + drive closing rates.
- Identifying customer needs and relate them to new products and/or services
- Implement the RR Business System and philosophy into the Sales force in the region;
- To collect and report information about the market to the market segmentation teams (competition, customers,



other driving forces);
- Controlling cost budget for the sales department;
- To draw up the annual company plan for the regions;
- To conduct ongoing monitoring of the companies’ activities and to initiate changes where necessary;
- In collaboration with the Sales Director draw up strategic plans in order to set up objectives;
**Requisiti**:
**JOB REQUIREMENTS**
- Mechanical Engineering Degree or equivalent, in combination with a business degree
- Several years of international experience in a sales management position, coming from a multinational company
- A professional knowledge of English (additional languages desirable)
- Leadership skills, with the emphasis on coaching
- Experience in team management
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Flexible and practical approach with an awareness of quality issues
- Availability to travel 75% of the time
