**Fondazione Milano Cortina 2026** is the Organizing Committee for the Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games of 2026, carrying on the organization, promotion and communication of the sporting and cultural events related to the next Winter Games.

Milano Cortina 2026 will be the first large-scale Olympics in history: 13 Olympic venues, 21 provincial capitals,



2,300 municipalities directly involved, over an area of 22,000 square km.
The Milano Cortina 2026 Organizing Committee has been established in 2019 with the purpose of organizing Olympic and Paralympic Games in compliance with the Host City Contract signed jointly by the International Olympic Committee (IOC), the two cities of Milano and Cortina and the Italian National Olympic Committee (CONI).
Furthermore, the Italian Paralympic Committee, the Regions of Lombardy and Veneto, as well as the Autonomous Provinces of Trento and Bolzano/Bozen are all partners in this major national-level project, with the support of the Italian Government.
**Position**:
This role exists, accordingly to the new organization chart (under final approval), focuses on the implementation support of the sustainability activities foreseen in the Sustainability and Legacy Strategy and, in particular, the circular economy projects and the sustainability related communication activities (such as the Contatore Ambientale).
Many initiatives would not be implemented, or implemented at a lower quality level, due to the lack of competent resources dedicated to that (Environmental Counter, P&G;'s Recycled Plastic Podiums,



Implementation of sustainability management systems Hotel of Games and Ho.Re.Ca., Reuse Plan, etc.).
1. Manage the definition and implementation of special projects dedicated to circular economy.
2. Support the external communication and engagement on circular economy projects.
3. Contribute to ensure the continuous monitoring of environmental and social performances of circular economy projects and their reporting to
external stakeholders.
4. Support in the implementation of the carbon footprint strategy (calculation and reduction measures mainly through the circular economy
initiatives), its management (inventory, mitigation and offsetting) and communication.
5.Manage the definition and implementation of special projects dedicated to circular economy.
6.Support the external communication and engagement on circular economy projects.

**Requirements**:
QUALIFICATION:
Master's degree in:
or
MINIMUM EXPERIENCE:
10 years of activity in the field of circular economy and waste management with specific technical role in the topics/competencies below.
ACCRUED SKILLS:
1.Circular economy
2.Communication on environmental and social sustainability issues
3.Basic knowledge of CAM and organizational and product environmental management systems (ISO 14001, ISO 20121, LEED, Ecolabel, Breem, etc.);
4.Stakeholder engagement
5.Essential knowledge of English, intermediate level, spoken and written;
6. Experience in the event organization industry.
