Local Unit & Position Description:
The section **Sustainable Food Systems and Supply Chains**, established in Milan in autumn 2021, addresses a new research program within **Group Research and Development (GRD)**. GRD has five other research programs: Future of Digital Assurance, Maritime, Energy, Ocean Space and Healthcare.
The new research program / section will focus on supporting the growth of our supply chain and product assurance services by leveraging digital solutions particularly for our food & beverage customers. Key areas for our R&D; are footprint documentation and management, transparency in circular material use, optimization of food production as well as food safety,



prevention of fraud in supply chains and the related digital technologies for collecting, validating, verifying and visualizing relevant data in real/right time.
**Position responsibilities**
We are looking for **Specialist Supply Chain Data Management** with expertise in digital technologies used in supply chains.
He/She will report to the head of section and will have responsibility for the following tasks:
- Generate ideas and develop concepts and prototypes for future assurance services
- Write scientific publications and white papers
- Manage projects in time, cost and quality
Position Qualifications:
As **Specialist Supply Chain Data Management**, you ideally have competences, experiences and qualifications in the following areas:
- At least 2 years experience in using and/or developing digital technologies within supply chains (for the purpose of data generation, consolidation, validation, analysis, visualization)
- Very good skills in programming languages
- Preferably experience from food & beverage or automotive sector
- Good communication and presentation skills
- Good command of English
- Master degree or above in relevant area, in relation to program focus areas
