**About the Role**:




Crunchyroll is looking for a Manager, Marketing - Italy. This is a high-visibility role on the Country Leadership team reporting directly to the Director of Regional Marketing - EMEA. This role will drive business growth for the Crunchyroll brand in Italy, establish long-term country strategies and oversee title launches and brand initiatives.
This highly strategic role requires strong leadership skills, centered in the middle of business development, marketing strategy and creative campaign oversight and is responsible for the complete marketing success in the region and its individual markets. It identifies the long-term path to success for the region as a whole and provides connection between the market and central global strategic functions following the "globally aligned, regionally relevant" principle.
The Marketing Manager takes direct ownership and accountability for full funnel marketing activities and subscriber growth in the Italian market.
**About You**:
- Degree in marketing communications or equivalent
- 6+ years of experience in marketing management
- On the forefront of pop culture and up to speed on the latest trends.
- SVOD experience a plus
- Brand agency,



tech or entertainment background preferred
- Experience managing a team of diverse functions and skills
- Worked in a global organization or international experience
- Self starter, who is flexible and accelerates in a fast paced, constantly evolving environment.
- Proficient in English (spoken and written)
- Deep understanding of the Italian market
**A day in the life of our Marketing Manager**:
- Develop and implement territory relevant strategy for traffic driving, brand/community engagement, social media and fan events. This includes the development of long-term objectives and mid-term regional title and initiative prioritization in conjunction with the EMEA marketing team.
- Be responsible for horizontal marketing functions in territory and local marketing teams to grow local subscriber base and portfolio brands including audience development, influencer marketing,



event marketing and local marketing partnerships - working closely with the EMEA marketing team and global leads in the corporate office.
- Manage a team of local marketers, which develops culturally as well as regionally relevant and conversation driving campaigns that deliver expected SVOD subscriber growth and theatrical box office numbers
- Manage regional budgeting process and ensure accountability per function and market
- Ensure all local paid, CRM, dedication, social media, digital, PR and event strategies are integrated in line with overall EMEA marketing strategy and incorporate regional Operations and Commerce goals.
- Responsible for establishing the brand regionally in alignment with the global brand direction and local product strategy.
- Oversee creative workflows for all products in Italy - maximising and working closely with the EMEA marketing team, global centers of excellence and regional external partners.




- Coordinate full-funnel marketing activities for Theatrical and SVOD marketing for region including budget management; be held accountable to box office and revenue targets in partnership with Commercial leadership partners.
- Partner with Director of Regional Marketing - EMEA for all future regional territory launches; ensure subscriber targets are hit for emerging territories
