Within Continental Europe,
the Retail Business Organization is dedicated to **develop volumes and profitability** in these specific customers of European developed countries.
The Mediterranean Sales Business Unit reports to the European Sales department and is responsible for delivering targeted profitable growth in their area and represents the voice of the customers.
Part of the Mediterranean region, the Key Account Retail is focusing on the **Retail Business in Italy for the North -East region**
The primary focus of the position is to **build and maintain** strong retail positions in volume and profitability.
**ACTIVITIES**:
**è** **Market knowledge**:
- Develop and maintain a good level of knowledge of customers in Retail: their environment, their products, their characteristics, their expectations.
- Develop and maintain a good level of knowledge of the position, strengths and weaknesses of our main competitors (markets, prices, service levels, products, etc.)
- Share with the team information about the market, competition and their products.
Identify and explore potentials for development (new customers, new distributors, new sector of activities)
**è**Business Strategy**:
- As a part of the Retail team,
participate to the definition of the strategy and priorities for the department, according to:
- The potatoes situation (crop, volume, quality, price)
- Manufacturing and packaging capacities,
- Products Development opportunities
- Profitability expectations
- Translate the strategy into applicable action plans in his area of responsibilities
- Work closely with Marketing Retail Operation and Category management functions to drive the targeted profitable growth
**è**Sales Activities**:
- Understand the customer needs / requests and work internally to propose the best solution, in term of product specification, price, logistic and support.
- Negotiate Local Agreements, promotional investment with customers in order to maximize sales volume and profit.
- Promotional investment follow-up with Sales support and Finance department.
- Product portfolio management ensuring that our product mix is aligned with the market to drive optimum profitability.
- Continuous collaboration with Credit office, sales support and customer administration in order to solve credit and payment issues.
- Define and implement strategies to increase visibility in stores (distribution, trade marketing, Catman, E-commerce)
- Monthly Visit POS in order to be aware of McCain and competitors situation
**è**Reporting activities**:
- Execute sales budget and prepare sales analysis on a weekly/monthly/quarter & annual basis.
- Monitors the performance of his area through regular assessment of activities and reports to his management the relative information and the required action plans
- Provide to update National Account Manager about local customers linked to Central Buying Groups
- Provide accurate and reasoned monthly Sales forecasts for his region to support Demand and Planning Processes
**è**Customer Satisfaction**:
- Develop a strong relationships and partnership with our customers
- Ensure with all department of the company, the correct execution of customers agreements (product specifications, quality, production, delivery, invoicing, claims )
**YOUR PROFILE**:
- Master’s Degree or Bachelors degree in economics, marketing or business
- Minimum **2-5 years** of experience in a similar role
- Experience in Trade Marketing and being involved in Category Management project
- **Collaboration**: Regarded as a constructive team player and have a strong sense of partnership behavior
- ** Analytical thinking**: Disciplined and data oriented to gain competitive advantage
- ** Communication**:Ability to communicate within a complex organization environment
- Capacity to plan, organize and manage multiple priorities
- Fluent in **English**:
- Driving licence ( frequent travels are required)
