These include _in vitro_ assays, cell-based phenotypic assays, safety pharmacology and efficacy, ADME toxicology, medicinal chemistry design, synthetic chemistry, and custom proteins and assay development capabilities.
We support a variety of drug discovery targets such as GPCRs, Kinases, Ion Channels, Nuclear Hormone Receptors and other proteins & enzymes. The Eurofins Discovery capabilities, expertise, knowledge and skill sets enable the company to provide clients the benefit of being able to work with a single outsourcing provider (CRO) for all their drug discovery programs.
**Job Description**:
- Responsible for sales of Eurofins Discovery services across Italy, Eastern Europe and Scandinavia (not including Denmark).
- Works collaboratively with the Eurofins Discovery sales team to promote Eurofins Discovery to companies working in drug discovery.
- Supports sales of DiscoverX products where applicable.
- Contributes to the global strategy by providing recommendations and feedback for both business development and operational strategy.
- Responsible for meeting sales targets and revenue growth targets for specified territory.
- Excellent understanding of the drug discovery market in assigned region including target companies, size of market and emerging technologies/modalities etc.
- Development and maintain high level client relationships through regular meetings, both face-to-face and virtual
- Work with members of the sales team and operations to drive business
Promote and maintain high levels of customer satisfaction
- Provide feedback and analysis to operations to improve/adjust/expand marketing strategies.
- Performs other duties as assigned, example: attend trade shows, present capabilities
- Use Eurofins Discovery’s CRM to log client meetings and significant calls as well as for the tracking of all opportunities
- Completion and regular updating of account plans
- Able to provide management with client overviews
**Qualifications**:
- A minimum education of a B.S. in Pharmacology, Biology, Chemistry or similar Life Science degree with demonstrated experience in selling discovery services **or** an established career in drug discovery and looking to develop into a Business Development role
- Consideration will also be given to a pharmacologist with business credentials (MBA)
- Excellent knowledge of the drug discovery and development process,
including integrated outsourcing strategies
- Understanding of, or prior experience, in the pharmaceutical industry and proven ability to analyse and act on the global business trends to drive regional business development activities.
- Exceptional business development, organisation, negotiation and communication skills.
- Valid Driver’s license
- Fluent in English

- Position is home-based and applicants are welcomed from applicants based in any area of Italy, Sweden, Finland or Norway.
- Located near major airport and ability to travel up to 40% time in support of driving business to meet revenue objectives.
- Ability to undertake occasional international travel
