Pfizer is hiring a Passionate, Talented, Innovative, Charismatic Sr Medical Affairs Scientist (MAS) in Dermatology Therapeutic Areas in Inflammation & Immunology (I&I;)
Medical Affairs Department.
The hiring of the Sr I&I; MAS fits the iTALent purpose, providing a rare growth and development opportunity to lead scientific innovation in our I&I; Therapeutic Areas.
The Sr MAS will report directly to the Italy I&I; Medical Director.
Why Patients Need You- The Sr MAS is a permanent member of the I&I; Italy Medical Affairs organization. The I&I; category has been developed to maximize the existing in-line portfolio in rheumatology and gastroenterology while positioning Pfizer as a JAK-inhibition leader with an exciting and promising pipeline especially in dermatology.- Sr MAS will join I&I; Team and will be responsible for Dermatology TA in Italy.- Will have direct relationships with healthcare professionals and research centers focused on increasing quality of partnerships to share the common final objective: patient’s health improvement.
Key Experience Offer of this Role- Leading the conversation to positively influence the external environment and help the patients with Immune-Mediated nflammatory Disease (IMID)- Developing local medical strategy- Transforming our “go to market model”:
act as critical change agent leveraging on medical and scientific capabilities to lead acceleration of new capabilities, including digital and multi-channel medical.
Primary Responsibilities- Maintaining the highest scientific standards during in/external activities to provide deep medical and scientific expertise- Establish a strong collaborative scientific relationship with relevant stakeholders in the assigned area (KOLs, medical societies, and other relevant internal/external stakeholders)- Integrate customer medical insights into the country medical and brand strategy, provide medical and scientific strategic support to the regional medical team, medical leadership to the country brand team, country and / or local XFTs, drive implementation of the country medical plan.- Contribute to the implementation of local medical strategies and life cycle clinical plans for dermatology medicines- Ensure safe, proper, and effective uses of assigned products, contributing to patients (and populations)
health and well-being- Observe compliance rules, ensuring activities and communications are conducted in compliance with all policies, guidelines, and regulation and ensure the respect of medical independence
What You Offer- Medicine degree is required- Board Certification in Immunology and Allergology/Internal Medicine/Dermatology is preferred- Academic experience or clinical experience are strongly preferred- > 5 years industry experience is required- Experience in conducting clinical research activities is strongly preferred- Knowledge of clinical development processes- General knowledge in the relevant Therapeutic Area is preferred- Fluent English plus local language- Excellent communication and public speaking skills- Adherence to Pfizer Values: Courage, Excellence, Equity and Joy.
