We are currently seeking a Planning Manager, reporting directly to the Planning Department to join our Planning team based in Italy, Rome.

About the Job

Main Activities

1. Provides leadership supervision and expertise
2. Defines Project objectives in terms of duration and resources
3. Pilots the Project status to ensure the forecast reliability
4. Fulfills an advisory role to the Project Management
5. Highlights areas of concerns and solutions to help achieve a successful and timely completion of Projects
6. Operationally manages the project Planning Team
7. Develops a Schedule compliant with the selected execution strategy
8. Plans in order to mitigate risks and reduce costs
9. Defines and optimizes the necessary resources (E-P-C-I)
10. Defines the Planning & Scheduling system (methods, procedures, time-schedules, physical progress, dashboards, etc.)
11. Defines for the Management, the Proposal Manager and the Estimation Department a Contract duration realistic and feasible for execution
12. Supports Client approval process of the Schedule Baseline,



progress claimed or milestones achievement
13. Increases Project team members awareness of the Project Milestones, main durations and critical paths
14. Monitors the project status to detect any delay and to propose corrective actions
15. Estimates the delay linked with changes and claims and prepares the Extension of Time analysis in case of delay due to Client
16. Provides Project Feedback and Lessons Learned in order to improve the Planning & Scheduling methods and provide input to the statistics of the Planning Department
17. Provides expertise and leadership to the Scheduling & Planning department
18. Defines the orientations, objectives and budget of the department

Ensures the implementation and improvement of company Planning and Scheduling standards and procedures.

About You

1. Qualifications: Engineering degree
2.



Languages: Professional English
3. 8 to 12 years of experience in Project execution

Main Skills:

1. Expert knowledge of Project Planning tools
2. Good knowledge of EPCI work processes and sequences
3. Deep understanding of the business principles for the Oil & Gas industry
4. Basic knowledge about the Global Business Process Management System (GBPMS)
5. Able to present data and fact in a clear and consistent manner
6. Thorough understanding and experience in Project delivery processes and principles
