with an emphasis on applying quantitative models and indicators to measure spillover effects in the local cross-border context.Given the environmental, social, and economic vulnerabilities that characterize many regions within the ITA-CRO program area, there is an urgent need to integrate sustainability into decision-making processes for planning and investment, especially in the tourism sector and the adaptive reuse of fortified cultural heritage.
