We're seeking a skilled Field Service Engineer to join our team of over 2,900 associates across 130 countries.

About the Role

This position is part of our Life Sciences Service Department office located in the Milano area, with the engineer based in Roma. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering exceptional service to our customers within their assigned territory.

Main Responsibilities

- Respond to customer support calls,



provide field support, and escalate complex issues to ensure timely resolutions.
- Diagnose system failures and determine cost-effective solutions.
- Ensure Preventative Maintenance Inspections and modifications are completed on time.
- Maintain accurate records, including paperwork, debriefing reports, and car inventory.

Requirements

- High school diploma or university degree in electronic engineering or a related field.
- 3-5 years of experience in high-tech research instruments service.

Travel and Physical Requirements

- Ability to travel 90% of the time, including overnight stays, within Rome and for training purposes in Europe.
- Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
- Ability to lift, move, or carry equipment up to 30kg and possess good manual skills.

Desirable Qualifications

- Previous experience in Centrifugation, Automation, Flow Cytometry repair instruments.
