We are seeking a junior and talented Sales/Marketing Finance Assistant to support our finance team in Rome. The resource will analyze and monitor key drivers of past, present, and future performance within the Marketing Unit, identifying emerging trends and challenges and collaborating with the team to recommend corrective actions as needed.

Key Responsibilities

1. Identify opportunities for operational efficiencies, build business cases, work closely with teams to implement cost-saving measures and establish performance metrics.
2. Collaborate with the New Product Development (NPD) team to assess business cases and align NPD strategies.
3. Provide insights into site performance, helping the team understand key business dynamics.



It’s important to develop strong business acumen, focusing on stakeholder management, communication, and influencing skills to support decision-making.
4. Translate business goals and operational targets into actionable short- and long-term plans.
5. Use data analysis to drive business performance, to present findings in clear, concise formats to relevant stakeholders.
6. Evaluate past investment projects, comparing actual performance with business case projections, and recommend actions to close any gaps.
7. Assist in the Annual Plan, budget, and forecasting (LV) processes, ensuring timely and accurate reporting.

This role reports to the Finance Manager.

Qualifications

- Master's degree in Economics, Management Engineering.
- Fluent in Italian and English (both written and spoken).
- Strong strategic thinking and business understanding.
