NoOffer DescriptionThe project aims to validate new molecular targets to regulate neuroinflammatory and neuroprotective responses and assess a peripheral biomarker as an indicator of disease severity or treatment response.
A new platform of in vivo models will be developed to study motor neuron diseases, focusing on:In vitro assays to analyze the molecular mechanisms of neurodegeneration;In vivo experiments on disease models, including pharmacology studies to validate new therapeutic approaches and the predictivity of new pharmacodynamic biomarkers.Advanced imaging techniques (MRI), ELISA analyses on biofluids, single-cell molecular profiling (single-cell RNAseq), and flow cytometry studies will be utilized.
The recruited individual will also support project accounting management, secretarial activities for communication between units, and project reporting coordination with the manager.Main Requirements1) Degree (with a course duration of not less than 4 years, as referred to in the pre-existing academic regulations pursuant to D.M.
n. 509/1999) or post-graduate degrees (pursuant to D.M.
n. 509/1999 and to n. 270/2004) awarded by Italian or foreign Universities recognized as equivalent.2) Scientific or professional curriculum suitable for conducting the research activity.3) If available, any Ph.D. title (Art 2- par.




1).Further Specific Assessable QualificationsMaster's degree in a biological field and/or related fields;PhD (preferably enrolled in or completed a PhD program in a biological field or an equivalent qualification);Thesis on a topic related to the area of neurobiology with the application of key techniques for the project in question;Proven expertise in in vitro work (cell cultures) and the generation and manipulation of lentiviral vectors;Possession of certifications enabling preclinical in vivo experimentation on animal models with techniques relevant to the project's theme;Proven expertise in molecular biology and biochemistry techniques, flow cytometry and immunocytochemistry, and immunohistochemistry on histological preparations.Selection ProcessThe application for admission to the selection procedure (dated and signed), the documents and publications considered useful for the evaluation must be submitted, under penalty of exclusion, electronically, by visiting the following web page:
