NoOffer DescriptionThe project aims to validate new therapeutic approaches for the treatment of high-grade gliomas, including chemoresistant glioblastomas.
To achieve this objective,



preclinical models of mice and rats will be developed using patient-derived cells.
The following will be validated: new advanced imaging approaches (MRI) to monitor tumor cell invasiveness and alterations in the tumor microenvironment, the biodistribution of new tracers to identify cells responsible for recurrence, and the efficacy of multivalent drugs that modulate the immune response and counteract tumor progression.
The research will be conducted according to Good Laboratory Practices (GLP) principles and will include methodologies such as flow cytometry, optical and confocal microscopy, MRI/confocal correlative microscopy, immunohistological analyses, and biomarker analyses in biofluids using ELISA.Main Requirements1) Degree (with a course duration of not less than 4 years) or post-graduate degrees awarded by Italian or foreign Universities recognized as equivalent.
Candidates must provide necessary documentation for qualification assessment.2) Scientific or professional curriculum suitable for conducting the research activity.3) If available, any Ph.D. title.Further Specific Assessable Qualifications1) Master's degree in biology with a thesis related to neurobiology and application of key techniques for the project.2)
