Serving three primary markets – passenger vehicle, commercial truck, and off-highway equipment – Dana provides the world#39;s original-equipment manufacturers and the aftermarket with local product and service support through a network of nearly 100 engineering, manufacturing, and distribution facilities.Position SummaryMain ResponsibilitiesCustomer technical interface: the main technical interface with the customer,



providing technical reference during the development of new projects, answering customer questions and leading problem-solving.Application analysis: identifying, calculating, and selecting the best technical solution(s) based on customer requirements and needs.
Managing technical presentations and interacting with Sales and Product Management functions.Powertrain solutions: collecting and managing customer requirements for powertrain systems, communicating these requirements to Product and System Engineering, and verifying they are met in the final machine.Continuous improvement: contributing to the improvement of calculation tools, processes, documentation, and vehicle/application knowledge.Mission Profile: gathering and analyzing mission profile data to support accurate power distribution system selection.Customer visits: attending meetings at customer sites and machine check-outs, and participating in testing, commissioning, and development activities as needed, particularly for high complexity/priority projects.Job Position RequirementsEducation: University master degree in Mechatronics, Mechanical, Control Systems,



or Electronics.Professional background2+ years of experience as an application engineer for electric powertrain components or diversified experience in design, development engineering, or applications engineering related to the off-highway, drivetrain/powertrain, or related mechanical industry.Experience in multinational companies.Demonstrated technical acumen.Proficient with sizing and calculation principles.Able to read technical drawings and specifications of powertrain components.Fluent in business and technical English.Considered a plus:Experience in the OH sector; knowledge of Off-Highway applications, standards regulations.Experience with OH electric motors and inverters, transmissions, and axles.Experience as a test engineer or field engineer.Knowledge of Matlab, Polarion, and CREO.Experience in international team management.Soft SkillsPro-active and dynamic mindset.Strong communication skills, including customer presentations, project review meetings,
