We are dedicated to innovation, excellence, and developing cutting-edge solutions for both commercial and defense sectors.Position OverviewKey ResponsibilitiesAuryn Aero is seeking a talented Junior Aerospace Engineer with a focus on Aerodynamics, Performance, Flight Mechanics, Flight Dynamics, and Control.The ideal candidate will have at least 3+ years of experience in the aerospace industry and be proficient in MATLAB/Simulink, closed and open-source CFD solvers, panel methods, and propeller theory.Aerodynamic Analysis:
Conduct aerodynamic analysis using closed and open-source CFD solvers and panel methods to evaluate and optimize UAV performance.Performance Evaluation: Assess and improve flight performance metrics through detailed simulations and real-world testing.Flight Mechanics: Analyze and model flight mechanics to enhance stability, control, and overall flight dynamics of UAV systems.Control Systems Development: Design and implement control systems using MATLAB/Simulink to ensure optimal flight performance and stability.Collaborative Projects: Work closely with a multidisciplinary team to integrate aerodynamic and control solutions into UAV designs.Documentation and Reporting: Prepare technical documentation, reports, and presentations to communicate findings and recommendations effectively.QualificationsEducational Background: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Aerospace Engineering or a related field.Experience: Minimum of 3+ years in the aerospace industry with a focus on aerodynamics, flight mechanics, and control systems.Technical Expertise: Proficiency in MATLAB/Simulink, CFD solvers (both closed and open-source), panel methods, and propeller theory.Aerospace Knowledge: Strong understanding of aerospace principles, materials, and industry standards.Problem-Solving Skills:
