This position of Junior Marketing & Category Development Assistant Skin Care leads the coordination and implementation of the marketing programs targeted to Italian and Spanish retailers to ensure that initiatives deliver in-store excellence execution.
Champion and communicate all activation plan across Skin Care segments/Brands, to the local sales team, retailers, Distributor and Field Sales Team
The role demands a great deal of stakeholder involvement, so it's ideal for someone who enjoys communication and building relationships.
Here's a sample of what you'll get up to
- Development of in-store Activation Plans:



Responsible for developing integrated in-store activation program that drive consumer and shopper interest and maximize sales performance.
This could include activities to drive existing brands, as well as activities to support NPD launches, for example (and not limited to) retailer events, Point of Sale (POS), coupons, loyalty card, direct mails, on pack promotions, website promotions.
- Channel understanding: Be clear on the needs of each distribution channel and adapt marketing plans to suit.
- Retailer understanding: Working alongside the Sales team, will use insight data and knowledge of the trade channel and customers to create relevant and effective activation plans that drive business growth.
- POS, displays & Trade Materials: Develop any customer specific trade material, in line with the brand objectives and identity.
Lead displays creation and management (design, coding, test, legal compliance) for all segments based on top skus performance; and adapts planograms to the store for customers.




- Brand Identity: work closely with brand teams to understand brand equity and translate that into activation plans across key retailers.
Carry out and verify all translations of international materials into Italian
- Evaluation of Activities: Review the success of initiatives, focusing on ROI and identifying improvements and opportunities for new initiatives.
- Deployment Information of Sales : Responsible for championing and communicating segment activation plans to the local sales team, Distributor and Field Sales Team.
- Forecast: Work with forecasting manager ensuring effective forecasting and product supply within agreed accuracy levels.

This role is being offered initially as a 2 year contract and we are ideally looking for the following experience:
- Some working experience, ideally with experience in a previous Sales / Trade Marketing role
- Analytical, critical thinking and results oriented.




- Demonstrable knowledge and experience of the FMCG business model.
- Experience working assertively, flexible and collaborative with individuals and teams located externally
- Proactivity and reliability to take on new projects.
- Strong level of English, Spanish is a plus
