**THE POSITION**:
In this role you will manage the OTC Pet Retail category, shopper and overall trade marketing and category strategy across channels where our FRONTLINE? brand plays a crucial role.
You will analyze data to develop category strategy and support the Commercial teams matching pharma category elements with a modern fast moving consumer goods dynamics.
Additionally, you will track and analyze daily account trade activities ensuring tactics align to overall brand and channels strategies (Traditional Petshop, PetChains, Pharmacy, Specialized channels, MassMarket, Ecommerce, etc.).
As a Trade Marketing Manager, the main focus will be to support and drive company's goals by developing and implementation of Trade Marketing activities and being the bridge between sales and marketing team in developing local and clients.
You'll define TM strategies, targets, programs, commercial initiatives and promotional policies.
**Tasks & responsibilities**:
- In this role you will be responsible for the creation, execution and monitoring of channel 4P/3D execution requirements for the business, converting global best practise to local success
- You will support the marketing and sales team on the development of the overall country Masterplan and business planning process
- Additionally, you will support and lead Sales and Marketing departments in the areas of channel information, category management,
channel visibility projects and trade presentations
- You will identify Market/Shopper/Category trends and create a local category vision and growth story for Pet Healthcare for our customers
- Besides, you will initiate and manage category projects with key retailers / channels
- You will aid full omni channel path to purchase to help influence shopper decisions through education, A+ content, recommendation and self-selection tools executed online and offline through the development of channel POS activity, aligned to key brand messages and visuals and for maximum impact
- Furthermore, you will maximize ROI of investment activities through detailed analysis to improve sales, trade investment, channel execution, product mix etc.
- You will create clear executional guidelines by channel, based on global recommendations and local execution for all innovation,
ensuring key channels and customers' requirements are aligned and accounted for in all execution
- You will work with our executional partners to deliver the plans in the relevant channels
- You will monitor and manage the budgets to deliver the full activity plan across OMNI channels
- Additionally, you will identify and monitor competitor activity and research market conditions
- You will take part to key "dotted line" alignments with Cross Regional Trade and Shopper Marketing Lead on converting Global Success Models to Local Success models and the sharing of Best Practise
**Requirements**:
- Master's degree in business/ Marketing/Economic or related disciplines
- 5+ Years of Trade Marketing preferably in the FMCG or Retail sector
- Proven track record of driving category growth and increasing overall market share for major FMCG brands
- Strong trade or customer marketing background, and experience working with sales organizations.
- Sales experience in sell in andor sell out context are appreciated
- Previous brand management experience is not required but desired
- Strong project management skills
- Good command of Microsoft Office, with excellent MS Power Point skills
- Good command of written and spoken English
