The research activities will concern the forming processes of advanced materials, mainly metallic, and innovative techniques in the additive manufacturing of polymeric material products. The studies will take into account environmental, economic, and social sustainability, and techniques for the reuse and regeneration of waste / scraps. The expected results of main interest will include: Strategies for the optimization of numerical simulation processes; New processes / systems for the forming and bending of metal sheets and tubes; Additive manufacturing through the extrusion of advanced materials (such as cellular materials and powder / polymer mixtures).
