For our Consumer Health Care department, located in Santa Palomba - Pomezia (Rome), we are recruiting for a** **Scientist Oral Care EMEA **to be hired with a permament contract.
The **Scientist Oral Care EMEA** will lead and execute Research and Development projects in Essential Health focused on Oral Care brands. Important to present both strategic and operational management skills in the planning and execution of these projects presenting technical background, good communication, ability of teamwork and intellectual curiosity.
**Responsibilities**:
- Responsible to lead the entire formula and process development (from lab to scale-up) with an innovative and strategic approach, taking into consideration consumer insights, compliance guidelines, environmental policies, cost restrictions and the impact on manufacturing sites
- Plan and execute process development activities. Establish partnerships with Pomezia plant and external partners to implement new products and improve the manufacturing process
- Lead the claims discussions and demos creation aligning with key stakeholders
- Generate, organize and compile documentation for the registration process ensuring the product is compliant with all applicable laws, regulations and company policies and standards
- Lead investigation processes and troubleshooting when applicable
- Manage complexity reduction focused on cost improvement initiatives providing solutions to technical challenges
- Great sense of urgency is needed to respond to the target dates and business achievements




- Ensures compliance with Quality procedures, regulatory requirements and GMP
**Qualifications**
- Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy, Chemistry, Chemical Engineer or related areas
- Fluent English required
- At least 2 years of previous working experience in R&D; Reformulation and/or Product Development or related areas is required
- Previous knowledge in the Oral Care category will be considered a plus
- Knowledge of process design and experimental testing design (DOE) will be considered a plus
- Ability to work independently and in a global environment
- Strong passion for science, technology, innovation and problem
- Good communication, organizational, interpersonal and influencing skills
